Got a call this morning from Mrs. Pimento on Crowflock Court. The inspector was out his morning and all went well. She wanted me to let everyone know how happy she is with Accent and all the effort made to get her new heat pump and air handler in. (There was lots of back and forth with First American to get this approved)

My air conditioner went out on a Sunday. I called my warranty company and they got me in touch with Accent. I called them on a Monday and they told me it would be Wednesday before they could come. We had a appointment for 6:00. The tech name was Shawn and he arrived on time. Luckily it was a small part that needed to be replaced. It only took him a few minutes to complete the work. I recently purchased the home so I didn’t know the age of the unit. While he was there Shawn was kind enough to answer questions I had about my unit. He told me what year it was and about how long it would be last. He also answered my questions about whey there were so many air returns in the house and if I needed filters on them. I also asked about buying a solar unit. He was very informative and took the time to address all of my questions. Since this was under warranty I only had to pay the $60 deductible.

Our upstairs air conditioning unit was not working and we called them for service. They were very quick on getting back with us to set up an appointment to assess the situation. They found that our coil needed to be replaced because it was leaking in our air handler. The part is currently being ordered and they will be coming back to do the repair. The repair is being done through our American Home Warranty so the price is less for service due to that. We think highly of Accent Heating & Cooling and also use them for preventative maintenance also. They work so well with us and the warranty company. All around they do a good job. They do not have a whole lot of turn around on their employees and they are very nice people. We continue to pay ahead two years at a time for preventative maintenance because they do such a good job.

Came out and diagnosed fault with evaporator coil after a prior contractor added freon to the air con which did not fix the problem. Accent were a pleasure to deal with. Their customer service center always picked up the phone & called back promptly. They even called on Saturday to try to schedule an appointment. I submitted my home warranty claim over the phone to the warranty company in the evening, and the next morning at 8:15 I received a call from Accent’s scheduling coordinator, offering to come to my home that afternoon at 3pm. At 2:30pm, I received a call from Tim, the technician, notifiying me that he would arrive at 3pm. He arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem, called in the parts order, tightened up the loose fittings, and departed, promising that the part would be installed within 48 hours. But, 21 hours later, I received a call from Accent’s scheduler, offering to come that afternoon to install the part at 1pm. At 12:20pm, I received a call from Lance, the tech, and he arrived promptly at 1pm. He had the part installed within 10 minutes, we tested the system, pronounced it good, and we were done! Easy interaction, quick, great service, super pleasant techs and scheduler.

My experience with Accent Heating & Cooling LLC was great. I will tell anyone. Anyone who asks me about air conditioning I will tell them about him. He fixed the one simple problem with my air conditioning unit that so many other contractors that came to my house and quote me so much money, couldn’t fix. And the problem was as simple as removing a piece of stick and doing some dusting and cleaning of the unit. I will truly use him again in the future in a heartbeat.

Excellent. The installer arrived right on schedule, and was very polite and efficient. It was obvious he knew what he was doing. Although this was not a complex job, we have had others – especially plumbers – who not too sharp. They or their associates helped us throughout our recent kitchen remodel and everyone was great. We have live here for 13 years and for several years we went from one heating/AC company to another. Either they were not trustworthy or they had almost no concern whatsoever for customer service. For example, service person hasn’t arrived yet 45 minutes after the scheduled time? “He’s tied up.” End of story. We have been using Accent for several years now for our home and our business, and we are completely satisfied with their work, their pricing and their professionalism. It is nice to deal with a truly local company. So many have been bought out by large companies with little or no connection to the local community.

The crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. They were courteous and the job progressed on the time table we were promised. The equipment is great and much better than what we had. It is very sophisticated and can be managed remotely by smart phone. All components communicate by computer system.
If there was ever a question, the crew asked before they performed the work. They also cleaned up after themselves and did not cause any damage to bannisters, crown molding or baseboards. We have recommended them to our friends and family.

We have also had them come back and install an attic fan with a kill switch and an extra register since the new system is so large and sophisticated. that it needs more registers than the older system.

We thought that everyone of their crew during the two day installation was very pleasant and professional. Our question to anyone considering Accent and another vendor would be: Why would you go with anyone else? There were no surprises and it could not have gone smoother for us.

My husband is a thermal dynamic engineer, and we looked at five other companies. We were very thorough and demanding as customers. The owner, Dan Mills, was available at night and on the weekends if we had any questions or fine tuning on the proposal. Our proposal was extensive since we went from the most basic model to one of the more sophisticated models. They were willing to continue to fine tune the estimate and customize it until we were satisfied that we had the best customized system and they best price. Although we paid a little more than the average family, we know that the system will last and that we are not going to have ongoing maintenance issues. We plan to stay in our home long-term.
